YETI® Engraving Guide | New and BYO Options

YETI® engraving creates a permanent design directly on the product’s finished surface. It can be used to add names, company logos, photographs, illustrations and other custom artwork to YETI® drinkware.

Before ordering, it helps to understand how laser engraving works, which designs produce the best results and whether you should buy a new YETI® or send one you already own.

How Does YETI® Laser Engraving Work?

Laser engraving precisely removes or alters the outer finished layer of the product. On coloured YETI® drinkware, this generally exposes the stainless steel colour underneath.

The process creates a clean, permanent design without relying on stickers, decals or printed labels.

What Can Be Engraved?

Most black-and-white artwork can be prepared for engraving, including:

• Names and initials
• Business logos
• Photos
• Handwriting
• Memorial designs
• Sporting graphics
• Wedding artwork
• Team names
• Line drawings
• Custom illustrations

The available engraving size depends on the product and the usable surface area. Detailed artwork may need to be resized or simplified to remain clear.

Can Photographs Be Engraved?

Yes. Clear, well-lit photographs can be converted into an engravable design.

Images with strong contrast usually work best. Very dark photos, blurred images or photographs with busy backgrounds may require additional preparation.

Before engraving, we review and optimise uploaded artwork. Where necessary, backgrounds may be removed and details adjusted to help improve the finished result.

Can You Engrave a YETI® I Already Own?

Yes. Our BYO YETI® service allows you to send us an existing genuine YETI® for engraving.

This option is useful when:

• You already own the colour and size you want
• Your preferred product is no longer available
• You received a YETI® as a gift
• You want to update staff or team drinkware
• You want an existing product personalised

Customers near Mackay can also choose local pickup options where available.

How to Order YETI® Engraving
